So after Livi's 18 month check up with the pediatrician, he was a little concerned with her frenulum labii superioris that he wanted her dentist to see if it was something that needed to be removed. Her poor little two front teeth are spaced due to the gums being so prominent. So we took her in and low and behold our little one has to go through yet another sedation and minor surgery to remove her Fernulum. She just cant catch a break! Luckily we got to while it was her baby teeth, so we wont have to correct it when her adult teeth come in. I just hope my kids dont get the dreaded dentist curse like I did. No matter what I do my teeth & gums just cant stay healthy. Even with prescriptions my poor enamel and gums are just so dang sensitive. I truly hope they all get their daddys hard healthy teeth!!
On a lighter note, I truly love their dentist. It helps when their office is very kid oriented and can distract them from the real reason they are there. Mikey and Livi both got to pick out their movie to watch while being seen. I just love the atmosphere here and they didnt want to leave... that is a plus!!

Poor little thing. Dysen had to be sedated and have his teeth worked on when he was her age too. No fun!!! At least your kids love the Dentist. I love pediatric dentists. They are the greatest!
poor Livi, it's so hard watching your kids go through medical stuff, yuck! But man how blessed are we to have such high tech medical stuff!
